Painting Supervisor

Job Detail

He will produce a detailed daily report on all painting activities, including progress percentage and product consumption
Should have a minimum of (10) ten years experience in the industrial painting trade, with at least (5) five years working on an offshore environment at a similar level
Shall be qualified with BGAS Painting Inspector Grade II/NACE Grade 1 or equivalent which is acceptable to COMPANY
Shall be familiar with the offshore painting standards in particular COMPANY standards and applications
Shall perform specific QA/QC duties in the performance of his work as follows:
Relative humidity and steel temperature checks
Dry and wet film tests
To implement and monitor pull off tests when required
Ensure full compliance with COMPANY requirements in accordance with GS EP COR 450
Compiles the final report including the necessary information for the final acceptance certificate
Manages the painting consumable stock to ensure all paint is utilized in a manner which ensures all materials are used within the period specified by the manufacturer
Ensures the painting materials are stored in the correct manner and in a suitably air-conditioned location.
