Job Description
- He will produce a detailed daily report on all painting activities, including progress percentage and product consumption
- Should have a minimum of (10) ten years experience in the industrial painting trade, with at least (5) five years working on an offshore environment at a similar level
- Shall be qualified with BGAS Painting Inspector Grade II/NACE Grade 1 or equivalent which is acceptable to COMPANY
- Shall be familiar with the offshore painting standards in particular COMPANY standards and applications
- Shall perform specific QA/QC duties in the performance of his work as follows:
- Relative humidity and steel temperature checks
- Dry and wet film tests
- To implement and monitor pull off tests when required
- Ensure full compliance with COMPANY requirements in accordance with GS EP COR 450
- Compiles the final report including the necessary information for the final acceptance certificate
- Manages the painting consumable stock to ensure all paint is utilized in a manner which ensures all materials are used within the period specified by the manufacturer
- Ensures the painting materials are stored in the correct manner and in a suitably air-conditioned location.
